Hi, fellow introvert 👋 I'm Laurene, and I'm so glad you found your way here, welcome! :)

May I take a guess?

You’re passionate about your creative work

You’d love nothing more than to share your services, your art or your offers with the right people.

You’re deeply committed to building your creative business…

…but right now putting yourself out there feels (very) hard.

Am I right? 😊

If so, you are in the right place.

And you're definitely not alone, my friend.

Maybe you keep holding back when it's time to show up because you...

  • Feel uncomfortable when you’re front and center
  • Worry about what people will think or say

  • Struggle to explain what you do in a way you can fully stand behind

  • Hear your inner critic whisper you're not good enough

  • Delay sending that email, posting that offer, or sharing that opinion because you're not "ready" (even though you know it could move your business forward)

I get it, I've been there too.

I know how painful it is to have something important to share with the world but feel stuck behind overthinking, self-doubt, and the fear of being judged.

And I also know how freeing it is to finally drop the mask, find your own words, and express without apology...

That’s why I help introverted creative entrepreneurs like you to:

✨ Express your value & ideas unapologetically (no more shrinking and second-guessing).

✨ Own your voice in business and embody your mission

✨ Show up consistently and confidently, without the dread.

✨ Finally feel unstoppable in building your business

I offer tailored 1:1 coaching sessions designed to help you work through what's holding you back right now and design a visibility plan that feels doable so you can start moving forward with your creative business.

How I became a coach: my journey from Hidden to showing up freely

Today, I put myself out there, talk about my work publicly and embrace visibility without wanting to bury my head in the sand all the time....but it wasn't always this way.

My first (failed) attempts at showing up

In 2020, after almost a decade working in corporate marketing, I took the leap to quit my 9-5 to pursue my lifelong dream of working with creatives.

And here's the truth: even if I had the skills, the passion and the ambition, I struggled with putting myself out there for years.

Take 1: when I started my business, I couldn’t bring myself to promote my work...nevermind selling. So for the first year, I relied on word of mouth. And it worked for a while but as I accepted any job I could find, overworked and undercharged...I ended up burning out. It took months to recover.

Take 2: I managed to channel the courage to launch my social media and "get out of my comfort zone" just like the "experts" said. I thought it'd get easier with time and repetition...but it got harder. Every time I showed up, I felt exposed and a little part of me was dying inside. So I kept stopping and starting.

Take 3: I came across an introvert coach explaining the difference between introverts and extroverts in terms of energy management... so I tried a different approach: showing up at my own pace. And it helped with not feeling drained but something still felt off...

The cycle I couldn't break...

Even though I wasn’t hustling anymore, expressing the value of my work publicly still felt hard.

  • I had to push myself to take any “visible” action most days.

  • I kept pivoting, second-guessing my ideas, and reworking my offers behind the scenes instead of selling them.

  • I spent hours polishing my “brand message” behind the scenes but barely ever shared it out loud.

  • Every post, every email, every DM took forever to send because I was overthinking every word.

  • I delayed opportunities because I “wasn’t ready.”

  • I edited my content so much to avoid being challenged, judged, or misunderstood that I wasn't sure I identified with what I wrote anymore

  • And the soundtrack running in the background? “Who do you think you are?”

On the surface, I was always "busy" working on my business. But the reality was, I was hiding in plain sight.

And maybe that’s exactly where you are right now too.

But everything changed when I finally tuned into to myself for answers...

By then, I'd been struggling to show up for YEARS and I was now carrying a big bag of shame for not being further along on my business journey.

I knew I couldn't carry on like this any longer and these thoughts weren't serving me.

So as a last resort, I decided to open up a new note on my phone and to start documenting my business thoughts & challenges. I was hoping to find some kind of pattern I could fix...

Instead...I found my own voice.

For the first time in my business journey, I had a space to express myself freely. No pressure, no expectations to post, no one else to read or watch but me.

And surprisingly, I found myself putting words to the things I was scared to say out loud. I could practice following the trail of my thoughts without editing, without apology, without trying to sound “right.” I discovered the truths I could stand by and didn't feel the need to argue with.

And it was like I was meeting myself for the first time.

That’s when I realised, I knew I was onto something:
The problem wasn’t that I wasn’t “ready” to show up, that I needed a better strategy or that I needed to "fix my lack of confidence".

The problem was that all these years I didn't know the sound of my own voice. I was playing catch up instead of seeing myself as the starting point.

I had skipped the foundational step of confident visibility: owning my voice.

And I became OBSESSED with finding ways to connect with my voice and building confidence from the inside out.

And once I started feeling at ease with how I sounded when no one was watching, visibility got lighter.

Sharing my work stopped feeling like exposure.

I started getting excited about sharing my offers, my ideas and leading my business forward instead of feeling stressed about what others thought

And before I knew it...

I was pressing publish on my opinions, even when they weren’t popular.

I began applying for opportunities I thought were too bold for me at the time

I launched my offers and actually promoted them with conviction in their value.

I positioned myself as someone leading a business instead of someone sharing their work.

And most importantly, I no longer felt like I was betraying myself every time I showed up.

I found my voice. And with it, the foundation for confident visibility.

My approach: the quiet confidence method

Through years of trial and error, I discovered 5 pillars that help introverts build the self-trust they need to put yourself out there without fear:

  1. Attunement – listening to your needs and energy first

  2. Voice Discovery – unearthing what you really want to express

  3. Scoping Your Expertise – defining what you're really here to do

  4. Safe Expression – creating your boundaries & rules for public visibility

  5. Purpose Embodiment – using your voice to lead your business

This framework is the foundation of everything I teach.

And the reason my clients finally stop hiding and start showing up freely without going through years of therapy.

    Frequently asked questions

    • Why have you decided to work with introverted creatives an artists specifically?

I am a huge introvert. As I started finding my clients, initially as a marketing consultant, my favourite people to work with were like-minded creatives. Over time, I started noticing that they were often asking me questions about moving past self-doubt and the discomfort of being front and center. This is how I realised that my business journey was experience. And I decided to put this experience to good use by pivoting to coaching and specialising in introverted artists and creatives.

    • Who are you when you're not coaching?

When I’m not coaching, I’m usually indulging in my many passions writing songs, playing guitar, crocheting, spending time outdoors, and sewing (one day, I’ll make my own dresses!).

Fun facts: I’m a huge metalhead (Iron Maiden, anyone?), a mental health advocate, and a bit of a geek at heart, with an obsession for psychology and all things universe-related.

    • Are you a certified coach? What's your qualifications?

Yes! I’m proud to say that as of 2024, I’m a Level 3 CPD-certified coach. While certification isn’t required in the UK, I wanted to ensure I was equipped to support my clients as effectively as possible.

In addition to that, I hold two business degrees from the Sorbonne in Paris, and I spent nearly a decade working in corporate marketing before I decided to launch my own business.

    • What can I expect from working with you?

My ultimate goal is to help you to become unstoppable in your business journey: finally take the steps you've been delaying or scared to take and do the things you've been thinking of doing.

When you work with me, you can expect to dive deep into what’s been holding you back - whether that’s fears, self-doubt, overthinking or something else entirely. I'm here to listen to you, unpack things with you and help you to set doable objectives and get clear on your next steps.

More importantly, there’s no pushing yourself to do things you don’t want to do, no faking it till you make it, no hustling to exhaustion, and definitely no pretending to be someone you’re not. I can promise you that.

I’m not here to teach you "one proven strategy" because I believe the only strategy that works is the one that fits you.

    • Where are you based? Where does your accent come from?

I'm a French expat living in the beautiful land of Scotland with my partner of 12 years (recently married!). That's where my funny accent comes from if you catch me on video :) It's a little blend of French and Glaswegian (from Glasgow, Scotland!).
